About the Role:
The Off-cycle Intern/Analyst will play a key role in supporting the origination and execution of major Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and private placement transactions in Russia. This is a high-impact position with significant exposure to senior bankers, clients, and advisors. Successful performance during the internship may lead to a full-time Analyst position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of pitch books, financial models, and transaction materials for IPOs, SPOs, and private placements.
• Conduct in-depth company and industry research, including valuation analysis (DCF, comps) and benchmarking.
• Support deal execution by coordinating with clients, legal advisors, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings, calls, and due diligence processes.
• Perform ad hoc analytical and administrative tasks as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier university in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, equity research, or valuation (internships included).
• Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise (Excel).
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating client-ready presentations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional communication skills (written and verbal) in English (advanced) and Russian (native speaker).
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
