About Antler
Antler is a global early-stage VC present in 11 countries in the US, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. We focus on investing in people more so than in companies, as we profoundly believe that the founding team is the most important element of a startup’s success. We work with most of our founders from before they start their companies by bringing together highly selected, ambitious individuals in batches and support, coach and invest in them in their zero-to-one phase. Since 2018, Antler has invested in 300+ companies globally.
About the Antler Venture Fellowship
Antler is looking for 2-4 ambitious people to join us for a 1-2 year Fellowship where you will get exposure to all aspects of early-stage venture capital across several geographies.
Fellows will rotate through up to four different roles across various teams in Antler, each rotation lasting for ~6 months. Throughout the Fellowship, you will join teams in several geographies across the globe, putting you on an extremely steep learning curve on both skill sets, cultural exposure and knowledge of what it takes to build and invest in fast-growing startups.
After the fellowship, we hope you will join Antler in a full-time position, join one of our startups, or build a new company as a founder.
The program is full time where you will become a fully fledged employee of Antler. It is a remunerated position.
Example rotations can include:
- Antler East Africa: work with the Antler team in Nairobi to identify, support and invest in the most ambitious founders in Kenya and across Africa
- Project Manager - Founder Platform: Scoping and product management of tech features to enhance our founder experience and internal operational efficiency
- Australia Fund Expansion Manager: Support in new location expansion in Australia
About you. You should apply if you are:

- Ambitious: another core principle at Antler is Uncomfortably ambitious. As the rest of our team, you like to set stretch targets and work hard to achieve them.
- Curious: You are curious and with a mindset to think outside the box and question the status quo. We’re on a steep learning curve as a company, and we are humble in acknowledging that we’re only a few steps along on a long learning journey.
- A good communicator: You have good communication skills and a genuine interest in other people. We’re a global team spread across 17 time zones working at a very fast pace. Good communication is the lubricant to make a distributed organization hum.
- Taking ownership: you take full ownership of your own objectives, and you also take ownership of our broader mission. When you see something that is broken, you default to “let’s fix this” rather than “not my responsibility”.
- A problem solver who likes to roll up their sleeves: you have strong problem solving skills and are a fast learner. You have a bias for action and are excited about moving fast. You'll likely be a true generalist, hustling to take things from zero to one in various projects to get things off the ground.
Successful candidates will likely have 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, technology or business management roles.
