Analyst(VTB Capital Research, Investment Strategy – Equities)

VTB Capital is searching for the individual to join us as an Analyst / Associate (VTB Capital Research, Investment Strategy – Equities).

Mission and Responsibilities:

As a Junior Strategist, you will analyze data and write regular and thematic reports on the stock market and indices while alsowork in close cooperation with sector and data analysts in an effort towards improving the broader Research product infrastructure. The role provides a big and growing degree of autonomy and thus requires strong self-motivation for successful progress. Excellent written and verbal English and Russian is an absolute must. You will preferably be a graduate in Economics and / or a Technical Field. Good programming skills as well as prior experience in financial markets is a plus.

Key Competencies & Qualifications:

• Strong academic record in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a Technical Field

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Russian

• Genuine interest in financial markets

• Comfortable multi-tasking and working under pressurewithin tight dealines

• Preferred qualifications:

o Prior experience in financial markets

o Programming skills

o Knowledge of modern means of presenting information
