Job description 

Background: 

Corporate Banking Coverage (CBC) manages and develops client-centric and product-agnostic treasury level relationships for ~3,000 clients globally. The core flow products sold to these clients are Cash Management, Trade Finance, Foreign Exchange, Trust and Agency Services and Securities Services. CBC works closely with its partners in coverage and sales to cross-sell Financing, Risk Management and Corporate Finance products. 

For the team of experienced corporate bankers, we are looking to add a junior banker to support the coverage effort in the region on a temporary basis (as a maternity replacement for approx.1-1.5 years). 

Reporting: CBC Country Head 

Key responsibilities: 

• Support members of the team to continue to grow business (new solicitations and penetration into existing names); 
• Take responsibility while supporting senior bankers in all aspects of client relationship: preparing client presentations, analysing financial accounts, accompanying senior bankers to client visits and providing follow-up; 
• Support senior bankers in all aspects of credit relationship: preparing client business cases, help Credit Risk Management in better understanding the respective clients; 
• Work as a junior relationship manager by establishing and maintaining effective and trustworthy relationships with new and existing targeted customers at working level in close coordination with senior corporate bankers; 
• Potentially cover own client group with supervision of CBC Country Head; 
• Coordinate internal requirements for business opportunities such as KYC or other regulatory requirements in cooperation with the respective departments; 
• Develop a sound knowledge of Investment Banking and Markets products, to allow to properly refer these opportunities to respective colleagues. 

Requirements: 

• A graduate to Bachelors or Masters level (or relevant international equivalent); 
• 1-2 years of experience in Corporate Banking Coverage or IB; 
• Strong analytical skills and numeracy, excellent communication and presentation skills; 
• Excellent communication skills (Russian & English a must) to interact with senior management team & clients on regular basis; 
• A team player to work with a wide range of business line managers and stakeholders in various countries.
