Admission 2019

In 2019 the Faculty of Economics, MSU offers Master Program 'International Business Management' provided entirely in English. 


Application period for the Master Program 'International Business Management': June, 20 - July, 20

Applicants should have a Bachelor Degree in any subject area (the total number of ECTS obtained should not be less than 125).

To apply for the program applicants should submit the following documents:
  1. Officially legalized diploma with transcript indicating the subjects studied and marks/grades received. The additional information on documents legalization procedure and the list of countries, with which the Russian Federation have signed international agreements that abolish the legalization procedure, can be found here.
  2. Translated (into Russian) and notarized copy of the diploma with transcript indicating the subjects studied and marks/grades received.
  3. Copy of the passport that will be used to apply for Russian visa. In case there is no spelling of the last name, first name (and patronymic name, if any) in Russian in the passport and the applicant does not need to receive Russian visa to enter the country to apply for the Program, the passport should be translated into Russian and the translation should be certified in the notary office of the Russian Federation.
  4. Copy of Russian visa (for the period of stay to apply for the program, if any) and the Russian migration registration.
  5. Copy of migration card issued upon entry to Russia.
  6. Photos (8 photos, size 3x4, black and white or color, matte).

The applicants should submit these documents to the Admissions Committee of the Faculty of Economics, MSU in the period between June, 20 and July, 20 (to do so, they should visit the Faculty of Economics, MSU).

When submitting the documents indicated above to the Admissions Committee applicants will be also asked to sign the following documents:

  1. Application form
  2. Letter of consent to provide a medical certificate of health (including HIV test results) in case of passing the entrance examinations successfully
  3. Letter of consent to diploma examination

Entrance examination

July, 21 - English Language Exam

July, 24 - Exam in International Business Management

Applicants are required to pass two entrance exams:
  1. Exam in International Business Management, which covers the following areas: Managerial Economics, Principles of Management and international Business. The program of the exam could be found here.
  2. English Language Exam. The support materials for the exam could be found here: part 1 and part 2.

Applicants may be eligible for an exemption from the English Language exam in case they provide one of the following certificates while applying for the program:


Certificates should be received in 2017, 2018 or 2019.
